1) Have you ever met someone you thought you’d never meet, or ran into someone you thought you’d never see again?
Like, celebrities, or everyday people? Or both? Celebrities, many people. Michael Bublé (sort of), Naturally 7, Randy Napoleon, Freddy Cole, Ashley Parker Angel, Jerry Mathers, Paul Vogt, etc. Everyday people, sure. I’ve met many wonderful people who I just feel so lucky to have met. :) As far as running into someone I never thought I’d see again, sure! Who hasn’t? Not celebrities though, it’s not like I just run into them all the time, hahahaha. :)
2) How often do you buy books?
Not very often, but when I do, I go on a major spree, haha! :) If I don’t buy physical books, I look to see if they’re available online. I also have the Kobo app on my PlayBook, which allows me to download and read books. :)
3) Have you ever gotten caught skipping class or trying to skip class?
Nah. In college, YOU’RE paying for your classes, so if you want to skip a class (or more) one day, have at it! Your professors don’t care, they’re getting paid whether you’re there or not, lmao (although of course, you’d benefit from going).
4) What’s one way you have changed, but wish you didn’t?
I’ve changed a lot over the years. It’s natural, and I’m a better person because of those changes—I wouldn’t have things any other way.
5) Do you think polygamy is wrong or acceptable?
It’s not really my place to comment on this, but basically, it’s not right for me. Some people are okay with having multiple spouses, or being one of someone’s multiple spouses, but that’d never fly with me. I couldn’t do it! Morally, I think people should be married to one person only, but again, it’s none of my business. If it makes you happy, that’s all that matters. :)
6) Did you/do you ever get frustrated with certain courses/topics in school, feeling that you won’t/wouldn’t need them later in your life?
Duh, who hasn’t (yes)?
7) Would you rather your music be very loud or on the quiet side?
My mantra in life when it comes to music is: “If you’re not listening to music loud, you’re not listening to music.” :) Any type of music, it’s gotta be loud.
8) Are there any really famous/common movies (such as The Wizard of Oz, or Titanic) that you haven’t seen?
Uh, I think I’ve seen most of the really big ones, but there are some I haven’t seen. The Godfather, for example. I know! But Mafia stuff and violence scares me, which makes my already existing anxiety even worse, haha. :)
9) In what ways are you very judgmental?
Eh, it’s just typical stuff that we all get wrapped up in sometimes. We’re all human, it happens.
10) What’s your main problem in life right now?
My anxiety—my OCD specifically. It’s really a major problem that’s affecting my everyday life. It makes me miserable, just miserable. But, I have faith that God’s taking care of me. ♥
11) Do you think religions like Buddhism and Hinduism are fascinating or boring?
Fascinating, definitely. Though I’m a Christian, I definitely love exploring others’ ideologies.
12) Did you know the myth about about chocolate being good for a broken heart is actually true?
No. Is this really true? I can believe it.
13) Do you ever even believe the random facts surveys sometimes give like the one above (because the last question is 100% true)?
I don’t know, I guess. I usually look everything up first, before I believe it.
14) Do you think big sunglasses are ugly or cute?
Cute! Unless they look ridiculously big, or something, that’d look silly! :)
15) Do you think it’s stupid how some people send over 300 text messages in a day, or is that okay in your opinion?
Who am I, the texting police? I don’t care how many texts someone sends per day, whatever floats your boat. Personally, I couldn’t send 300 texts a day, but some can, and I say if you want to, and can afford it, go for it. :)
16) What’s one natural disaster you’re afraid of?
Pretty much any kind, though I think I’d have to go with earthquakes specifically. They just make you feel so hopeless. I’ve only experienced two—the first one was nothing, and the second one (the big East Coast one on 8.23.11) was effin’ scary. It was a 5.9, which is nothing compared to some we’ve seen, but unnerving nonetheless.
17) Do you ever listen to music when you take surveys?
I have.
18) What are your favorite things to post along with surveys (pictures, song lyrics, quotes, etc.)?
Eh, occasional quotes, or lyrics, maybe, but that’s about it.
19) Have you ever had to practice for a lockdown?
Yes. Scary, even though they’re just drills—you just start thinking about what it is you’re potentially preparing for, and imagine what the real situation might be like, should it actually become a reality, etc. It just freaks you out. My school went on lockdown a few years ago due to a shooting (yes, a shooting), but thank the Lord I wasn’t there that day. I did show up that morning, but something just didn’t feel right, so I took the day off, and went out with my friend. I’m so glad I did that.
20) Do you think bands like Metallica are overrated? Or is it Justin Bieber and people like him who are overrated?
Metallica, overrated? No way! Justin Bieber and the like, however, yes, for sure. Justin’s a talented kid, no doubt, like, I can’t sing to save my life, I just don’t have “Bieber Fever,” is all. My Fever is for Michael Bublé. ;)
21) Do you think it’s stupid how certain musicians don’t even write their own music, but still get all the money, just for performing?
Life isn’t always fair, my friends.
22) Do you enjoy the rush of adrenaline when you’re scared/worked up, or do you dislike the feeling?
If I’m standing up for someone, or something I believe in, it ultimately feels good, yes, but if I’m scared, no way.
23) What’s your opinion on physical fighting?
If you’re just fighting for the sake of fighting, it’s low-class. If you’re fighting because you’re in mortal danger, that’s self-defense.
24) What, in your opinion, makes a girl look “trashy” or “skanky”?
Too much makeup, lack of clothing, etc. You can look beautiful with just enough makeup, and clothes that aren’t so revealing that nothing is left to the imagination. Just look at Adele—she’s stunning! :)
25) Do your “favorites” change often?
Eh, not really. Occasionally.
26) What was the reason or joke behind why you last laughed so hard you cried?
I don’t remember, I’m always laughing about everything! :)
27) Have you ever read a biography on someone?
I think so, yes.
28) What’s your opinion on how society is all about conformity?
Well, it is all about conformity. That’s where people like myself come in—come on, guys, let’s rebel! :)
29) What was the last thing someone said to you that offended you?
I don’t remember. Probably better that way.
30) Do you consider marijuana to be a drug or a plant, or can you see both sides? What do you think of the whole debate on whether marijuana is a drug or a plant?
It’s both, I guess. A plant that makes you high when consumed, therefore making it a drug as well. Seems pretty obvious to me, I don’t know why people are debating about it, lol.
