1.21.2013: President Obama turning to look at the crowd one last time after delivering his inaugural address. “I want to take a look one more time,” he said. “I’m not going to see this again.” So genuine and humble. What’s even more touching to me is that after Malia (President Obama’s oldest daughter) hears what her father says, it looks as though she asked the photographer nearby to take a picture, presumably for her dad to cherish forever. So sweet. The Obamas really are a lovely family—I look forward to them continuing to reside in the White House for another four years.
